Do I Have A Good Home For Solar?

Because the town, state, federal government, and the utility company are involved, it can be hard to get qualified. Here are some things we look into for approval:

Usage

For solar to be effective for your home, we generally need more than 5,000kwH of usage on a yearly basis. Most homes produce more than this amount.

Shading

Hey, we're environmentalists - we love trees! We just need them to be a little ways from the home if solar is going to be a good fit. We can help with some tree removal if necessary.

Roof Type/Condition

Because we give a warranty against leaks from installation, it's vital that your roof can handle solar. We can't work with cedar or wood shake roofs and they need to be younger than 20 years old, usually. Asphalt, metal, rubber are all acceptable.
